Summer conditions are here! When Mother Nature does not supply your lawn with adequate rainfall you will need to do some watering. Most lawns should receive approximately one inch of water per week. This can be achieved by watering between 3 to 4 times a week. As a starting point water anywhere between 12 to 15 minutes PER AREA then adjust accordingly. Every lawn is unique and watering times will vary based on multiple factors.
Although Summer has just begun it’s not too early to begin thinking about Fall Grub Prevention. Fall Grub Prevention Treatments are performed in late June & early July to allow for optimal protection. It has been proven that proactive prevention treatments achieve a much higher percentage of control than taking a “Wait & See” approach. Preventive treatments can obtain up to mid 90% control rates on the young immature grubs as opposed to a reactive treatment which typically is only in the upper 40 to mid-50 percent range. In addition to lower control rates multiple applications may be required if you decide to wait, and usually by this time visible signs of damage may have already occurred. CALL NOW TO SCHEDULE
